Based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, DPMS Firearms, LLC, got its start as a government contract consulting company over 20 years ago. Since then, DPMS has made a name for themselves with a number of high quality DPMS firearms, mainly the DPMS Panther. DPMS Arms holds several patents for AR-15 rifle innovations and is now the second largest manufacturer of AR-15 rifles.
Taking the M16 rifles and AR-15 rifles to the next level, DPMS firearms is a favorite with big game hunters as well as varmint hunters. DPMS firearms are also used by military personnel, law enforcement agencies and civilians around the world
DPMS is also making a name for itself in the world of competitive shooting, and they even have their own team of competitive shooters who partake in shooting competitions across the country. In 2002, DPMS purchased Del-Tone Gun Club in order to host their own shooting competitions and use the facility in order to research and develop their constantly growing line of DPMS rifles and accessories.
